Russian invasion of Ukraine – first weeks
Russia began its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022. Two days later I was filming at the Polish–Ukrainian border. Over the next four weeks I followed the people who crossed it: through the border, to the station in Przemyśl, onto trains and into Warsaw.

The same station, a day apart
The same drone over the same station, twenty-four hours apart. On the Saturday morning the forecourt is nearly empty. By Sunday morning the trains from Ukraine have filled it.

The road crossing on the third day of the war. Queues of cars with Ukrainian plates, people walking across with what they could carry, volunteers handing out hot food and offering free rides, and by evening a reception hall set out with camp beds.
